Strategic Planner

As a Strategic and Media Planner, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective advertising strategies and media buying for our clients. You will work closely with creative and client service teams to ensure that the media strategy aligns with the creative approach and client goals. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of media landscapes to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

|    Develop comprehensive strategic plans and media buys that align with client objectives and budget.

|    Conduct market research and analyse data to identify target audiences and optimal media channels.

|    Collaborate with creative teams to ensure that the media strategy complements creative concepts.

|    Dealing with media platforms to secure the best rates and placements for advertising.

|    Monitor campaign performance, analyse metrics, and make adjustments to strategies as needed.

|    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging media, and new technologies to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

|    Present strategies and results to clients and internal teams, providing insightful recommendations and adjustments.


|    Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising.

|    A minimum of 3 years of experience in media planning, buying, or a related role within an advertising agency or media outlet.

|    Strong understanding of media planning, buying processes, and the advertising landscape, including digital and traditional                 media channels.

|    Proficient in media planning software (e.g., comScore, Nielsen) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

|    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into effective media strategies.

|    Creative thinker with the ability to collaborate across departments to integrate media and creative strategies.

|    Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, ensuring clear and effective communication in a

     fast-paced, collaborative environment.

|    Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

|    Familiarity with performance analysis metrics and tools, and the ability to adjust strategies based on campaign performance.

|    Passion for staying ahead of the curve on media trends and technologies.
